Hi! We’re Julie & Ted Block. We’ve been best friends since middle school and partners in all things—from helping our clients find their dream homes to reading our kids’ bedtime books.

In 2016, we took a leap of faith in our family and our city as we left Julie’s career to jump into real estate. In addition to being involved in our kids’ lives as they grow up, we also wanted to meet our neighbors and be engaged in our community as Pittsburgh grows.

As it turns out, running a small business while raising a family is a juggle, and too often it felt like we had to choose between succeeding in real estate or succeeding as a family.

The Porch Swing Collective gives us the knowledge, encouragement, and support we need to consistently give our best to our family, our clients, and our community!

  • Lillian Denhardt

Hi, I’m Lillian! After several years as an urban planning consultant, I found myself increasingly drawn to the housing aspects of my planning projects and neighborhood involvement.

While contemplating a professional change, I was fixing up my first home in Garfield and encouraging friends to put down roots as homeowners. Working in real estate in some form seemed like the right next step!

I soon earned my real estate license, and although I didn’t know where it would lead, I dove in with gusto.

As much as I still love large-scale, long-range neighborhood planning, I find fulfillment in helping individuals make confident decisions about homeownership. That tangible, in-the-moment change is what keeps me going in this wild career path I’ve chosen.

  • Miranda Micire

Hey there, I’m Miranda! I’m not just here to help you buy or sell a house—I’m here to walk with you through the ups, downs, and in-betweens of making big life moves. Real estate isn’t just a job to me—it’s a way to connect with people, build community, and help others feel truly at home in Pittsburgh.

I got into real estate because I love this city—its neighborhoods, its history, and all the quirks that make it special. I’ve spent most of my life here, exploring its hills, admiring its old houses, and learning how each block has its own personality and rhythm. Whether it’s a grand Victorian or a tiny house hidden on a hillside, I see the stories in every space.

My background is in social work, community development, and local government—so I’ve always been focused on people, not just properties. That mindset carries into how I work as an agent. I’m here to listen first, guide with honesty, and make sure you feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

Outside of work, you’ll probably catch me walking around the neighborhood with my husband, Zack, and our rescue dogs, Bandit and Lulu. I believe home is more than just four walls—it’s community, connection, and a sense of belonging. That’s what I’m here to help you find.
